on January 14, 2010Hey!
excellent footage! Can u share what settings you have used for shooting in low light? We tried shooting a scene for a short film and there was too much noise even at 600 ISO. Secondly, what lens have you used here?

on December 16, 2009After reading more on the 7D, this test seems to highlight the weakness of the 7d - low light performance. Also, I'm curious as to the ISO of the shots. I'd bet it was in the 800 - 1600 range. I'd love to see a comparison of daylight video.

on November 4, 2009Chris, in your opinion, which HD video performance better? 5D MarkII or 7D?

on October 16, 2009Thanks so much for posting this video. The 7D body is my next purchase and makes me feel great about the decision.

on October 3, 2009Hi J,
I use Final Cut Pro for almost everything. For me it was hard to learn but once over the hump, easy to use. I used to use iMovie for some things but even with iMovie 9 I keep wishing I had some feature of Final Cut, like better control over audio levels during clips.

on October 1, 2009Nice work. We got to the right places. 7D looks pretty good, 5D video seems slightly better.

on October 1, 2009The 7D looks great. I'm planning on making that my next camera instead of the 5D MKII. Thanks for the video Baldy!!! :-)

on October 1, 2009Spectacular! Thanks. Side effect: you've just created a Pro user (though, really, why not?).
