Chris MacAskill > Coach Ben recommended walking up the first hill out of T1. But dude, I was tired. This is a great shot of the chocolate Spiz that would nourish me for the next 4 hours on the bike.

Chris MacAskill > Almost to the top of the hill. I'd like to point out at this point how my zoot suit and bike jersey are coordinated as well as the color match between my helmet and watch (picked out by my dad). Unfortunately, no bonus points were awarded for fashion in the bike segment.

Chris MacAskill > I rode in glory into T2, with Spiz dribbling down my chin and bike grease all over my legs (the chain fell off about 3/4 of the way through). In case you can't tell how stiff my shoulders were at this point... I'll tell you they were REALLY stiff.
