I just wanted to tell the Smugmug Team how impressed I am with the new Set Prices feature. It is much better than the old version. It is smooth, comprehensive, and easy to use. Innovations like this are what makes me thrilled to continue to work with Smugmug--I am proud and happy to have my website hosted with you. At Smugmug, you do not sit back once you have finished Version 1.0--you continue to improve and redesign, always perfecting your website in an energetic and thoughtful fashion. I will definitely be staying with Smugmug for many years to come.

Keep up the good work,

Samuel Cohen

Dear SmugMug:

I'd like to compliment you on such an amazing site. I'm not
overstating things when I say I've been searching for almost a year
for a gallery program (either software or web-based) that's easier
than the one I'm currently using on my site.

As I'm an artist who's constantly updating her galleries, my old
software (Arles) was just too unwieldy, and SmugMug is precisely what
I've been looking for.

I don't usually write testimonial emails like this, but seriously,
I've looked far and wide for a sane, simple, beautiful gallery
program. It's amazing it took this long to find one like SmugMug.

With gratitude,

Mary Ann Farley

Hi,

I am an 80 yr. old grandmother who joined smugmug a few years ago,
close to when you started up. At that time I had acquired a digital
camera, and found "Smugmug" on the Internet, which meant we could
easily show our family photos to relatives in the West of the US and
Canada. I quickly introduced my two brothers and one of our sons to
this great service.

Tonight I watched the Quicktime movie of the interview Don MacAskill
did on the Scoble Show.....what a wonderful family! And I learned
something! I had never thought of looking at our pictures on Smugmug
on our 46" HDTV through my MacBook. That is certainly the best way to
see the photos! My husband and I get so much pleasure looking at our
summer flower and cottage galleries when there is a blizzard outside,
as there is now.

Maybe someday I'll try to afford an upgrade to put my little movies on
Smugmug too.

So I wish you all great future success in all your endeavors with
Smugmug. It is such a wonderful way for families to share memories.

Sincerely,

Ruth Sprott

There can't possibly be that many decent employees in one business.

I became a member today after the 14 day ( then extended 4 days) trial period. I had a few mega confusions due to.....well, let's just call it attention span issues. These confusions were all taken care of (and I'm sure I'll have more) by the staff at smugmug. The first time I received an email response from one of my questions I was floored by the personable (as in "not a robot" who couldn't care less) response. I thought I just happen to get a "nice employee". But then I had several other email questions answered and they were all answered by human beings too!! I think there's just one nice person there with a dozen or so aliases, come on admit it! There can't possibly be that many decent employees in one business. Thanks for all your help!

I don't often *gush* like this (never actually!), but this morning as I was looking over my SmugMug albums and seeing all those great pics of my family and marveling at how I've been able to keep my parents up-to-date on their grandkids' meteoric growth and development (we live on the other side of the world) using SmugMug, I thought to myself "Wow, I really do love my SmugMug". And it's true.

You've created something quite incredible, which is a big feat. But what is an even bigger feat is that you maintain it and grow it with style, service, and nice portion of wit, too. All without selling out, which of course would immediately diminish the style, service, and most likely the wit, too.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks and keep up the great work.

Really satisfied customer,

I can't say enough about how AWESOME SMUGMUG is!

I was using another site to host my galleries, and my clients found the site to be very difficult to navigate. Everyone compliments me on how great "your" site is, and now I'm starting to see sales!
Thank you for making it so easy, most of my client don't even realize that they are taken from my site to SmugMug, it's seamless.

I love how I am able to customize each gallery. And not that I want you to raise prices, but was paying monthly what I paid for my first Year with SmugMug.

Keep up the Incredible Work.

I have three words for you on my prints...OH MY GOSH! They are the most awesome prints I have ever had developed!

I just cannot believe I stayed with Sony Imagestation all of these years with their so-so prints, not to mention their so-so web site, without ever knowing about you. What I thought would be a disaster with their closing down, turned out to be the BEST thing that ever happened with my photography needs.

I will be a loyal customer for years to come!

Kindest regards,

Tom Edler

p.s. By the way, your customer service is absolutely THE BEST!

Wow, how nice to get feedback from real people! And from the same family too! So rare in this age.

I have found that the personal assistance is second to none as far as Internet businesses are concerned. I'd be happy to recommend you to others, and I hope the venture is a success.

I repeat my original compliment, that SmugMug has allowed me to build a very smart photo-oriented website, easily and simply for a very reasonable cost. Importantly, I can now keep in touch with family on the other side of the world by uploading photos and text at any time, in minutes.

As Registered Ergonomist, I can say that the site is highly usable, with a very good look and feel.

SmugMug is the greatest!

On April 17, 2007, I witnessed a river rescue in northern California as I was driving from San Francisco to Seattle. That night I was able to download the photos to SmugMug with my laptop at a nearby motel and e-mail the rescue workers with the SmugMug link.

The captions helped me explain the rescue. The e-mails I've since received include a man whose son is with the US Coast Guard, which was involved in the helicopter rescue. His son had forwarded him the link so that he could see the impressive work involved in the rescue. The SmugMug feature I like best is that people can download the photos at full resolution.

So simple, even a doofus photog can do it, if he bothers to read and think just a little bit.

SmugMug is the essence of simple sophistication. Thanks, eh?
